ClearSpell Garden Furniture Covers Limited Warranty

ClearSpell warrants Duraspell garden furniture and parasol covers to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase, subject to the following limitations and exclusions:

Exclusive warranty:

  • This is the sole and exclusive warranty.
  • No other warranties, whether verbal or in writing shall be valid.
  • No person is authorised to give any other guarantees or warranties or to alter this warranty.

What is fully covered:

  • UV Damage
  • Faulty zip locks and rip stop ties
  • Tears larger than 2cm due to product defect

Limitation of warranty service:

  • The warranty extends to the original buyer only and cannot be transferred.
  • In no event shall ClearSpell Ltd be liable for any consequential or incidental damage or injuries resulting from using this product or resulting from defects in the product.
  • Within 14 (fourteen) days of purchase (free of charge): Your cover will be replaced and if a replacement is not immediately available, a full refund will be issued.
  • Longer than 14 (fourteen) days after purchase: If the cover cannot be repaired within a reasonable period of time, it will be replaced at no cost. The buyer shall bear any costs related to shipment, collection or delivery of the covers.
  • If the product becomes obsolete or is changed in future, ClearSpell reserves the right to replace a faulty product covered by the warranty with the new version of the product.
  • The warranty ends when the covers become unusable for reasons other than those covered by the warranty.
  • The cost of insurance during shipment of the covers will be borne by the buyer.

Exclusions:

  • Solar flares
  • Extreme storm damage
  • Animal gnawing
  • Physical damage due to mishandling, accidental or deliberate damage
  • Rot or mould due to incorrect storage.
  • Damage caused by modifying or altering the covers.
  • Risk of loss during shipment.

 

How do I obtain the warranty service?

Notify ClearSpell immediately upon discovery of any defect, malfunction or non-conformity of the product you purchased by visiting our ‘Contact Us’ page

Registration of the Warranty

Your warranty is your proof of purchase or order number. You do not require any other registration to activate the warranty.
